Recreation and adventure are very important parts of a young man's life and Norris offers an 800+ acre campus to our youth so that they can explore many different interests. In addition to treatment and educational programming, Norris includes physical and wellness activities into each day in an effort to keep the boys active, motivated and working together. The emphasis with the recreational activities is to facilitate team building opportunities that may follow with a group discussion. The youth at Norris learn team building skills, social skills, regulations skills and how to have fun in their free time. These learned activities are intended to carryover when youth successfully complete their treatment at Norris and return to their homes and neighborhoods.
